Campsite located close to the beach with shop, restaurant, children's playground, well-maintained facilities and multi-sports field, with excellent sanitary facilities and a very good take-away service. The center of Ystad is 2 km away where all shops, restaurants, etc. are available, 10 minutes by bike.
Ystad:
A beautiful, lovely town with about 18,000 inhabitants. in the province of Skäne. Ystad's location on a bay has meant that people have been living in this location for a long time. It is one of the most picturesque places in southern Sweden with many medieval half-timbered houses in all kinds of colors. Nice, cozy, cobbled streets and sunny squares
This is quite a large campsite with lots of long-term campers. Unfortunately is situated right in between train tracks and a highway. Hence, it’s quite noisy throughout the night.
The service is quite good. We were arriving very late and they had prepared an envelope with all the required things for us.
Showers are coming at an additional charge and need to be bought in advance.

Friendly staff in reception and store.
Near by the beach (approx. 5 min walk).
Service building (we used) of older kind.
Cleanliness not always on top.
Road with much traffic on the one side and train track on the other. Never really quite.

unfortunately there are not many camping options so we are at a disadvantage, people with tents are literally placed on the side of the road, noise aside, it can even be dangerous. It seems that since they have full of country houses (their biggest income) those of us who have small tents do not matter. If you want to take a shower you pay for it separately.

I enjoyed this campsite, but my friends, toilet paper must be on rolls.

This is a very nice campsite! Biggest advantage, you had family rooms that you could use for free, with shower, toilet, wonderfully clean!
A really well kept campsite. Not many day trippers, it seems to be used by caravaners that are summertime permanent, but perhaps that is why the kitchen, toilets and showers are in such good condition. Really nice and clean facilities. It was also well kept grounds and despite being between an active train track and a bigger road, it was quiet and with lots of pleasant bird life. The children's playground was fine, according to our daughter. The little camp shop has what you need, as long as it isn't gas bottles. If you have time, visit the Ystad swimming pool, it was fun.
