Camping is a municipal campsite, so 'municipal' and not very expensive. Epernay is located more than 25 km south of Reims. Not a special campsite, but this is certainly sufficient for 1 or 2 nights. A cycle path towards the city also starts here on the side of the quietly flowing Marne. Through an industrial estate. Count on approximately 25 euros for 2 people, camper and electricity, including 2 dogs. We were there at the end of July. Photos: Epernay center. Nice to have a look there.
Nice campsite, close to the city and many attractions nearby. There is 1 toilet block so it is busy at times. Cleaning is done 3 times a day. If it is high season and you need electricity, reservations are recommended.
A great campsite in a lovely location right by the canal. Super friendly and helpful staff who found a camping spot for me, my tent, and motorcycle after a long days riding despite being full. There's also a lovely on-site restaurant overlooking the canal with excellent food that I'd also recommend.

Good location and nice campsite but the toilets and showers were very dirty. No real cleaning done and the floor had ingrained grime. I reluctantly visited the toilets but never had a shower there. No excuse to not have great clean facilities as we paid €25 per night. Paying €18 ler night on a site in Ribeauville where the facilities are steam cleaned every day

Quite a big site. Completely full every night we were there in our motorhome. Shower block not great - not enough showers for the size of the site. Good hedging between sites - good privacy. Quite a long walk to the town - ok if you have a bike.

The location is amazing, the pitches are a great size and the site was quiet... However, the facilities are at best DISGUSTING! The cleaner was seen on several occasions with two pink sponges and no cleaning chemicals of any description and germs and dirt are wiped from one place to another! Given what we have just been through with Covid the showers and toilets are a Petri Dish of all sorts I would imagine! Use at your own Risk! I would suggest that the Municipal Team pay the site a visit when the cleaner is there ......

Brilliant service from the friendly and welcoming staff. We arrived without a booking and despite the campsite having a sign saying fully booked we accommodated, including being given an electricity extension cable to borrow.
Pop up restaurant on site served very good food with a nice waterside view. Dogs welcome at tables outside.
Good size pitches with hedges for privacy either side. Lots of bins for recycling, food waste and general rubbish - all regularly played throughout the site.
Shower and toilet block adequate but could do with modernising, men’s seemed more in need of improvement than the ladies. Great to have toilet seats for a change, you have to take your own toilet roll which is fine.
Overall a very well run campsite and far better than most municipal campsites.
