Neidhart Festsaal (formerly Neidhart Frescoes)

The Neidhart Frescoes (Neidhart Fresken) is the oldest secular mural paintings in Vienna. It was commissioned by the merchant Michael Menschein and show scenes from the life and work of the minne singer Neidhart von Reuental (circa 1180 to 1240), illustrating daily life and festive culture of the Middle Ages.
