Salthill

We had a place with a beautiful sea view. It was a busy weekend and the campsite was quite full. We think they supplement as much as possible. This gives a good chance of a place. Sanitary was cleaned well. Nice foot/cycle path to Salthill.

Rude staff, very expensive, very common campsite, made me pay for a small tent the same amount I paid for a camper, all in the same pitch. No other campsite has ever done that to me anyway. Just money in the guys head, no manners and overpriced prices for doing your general stuff, over here you pay for everything, all you have here its an average view and you are close to a promenade. A lot to learn with campsites around Europe with slides, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, green places and lots for kids to do etc not to mention your usual stuff included in a fare price. Paying for hot water! That's the first... Not my idea of fun or good customer experience to look at an idiot that treats you like an idiot and takes a lot more money for it, and when you finish talking to the guy its like you treated him like and idiot after taking money off him! I stayed because I had no choice due to circumstances at that moment, tell you what... No patience for idiots and I can think of bette

This is a very convenient campground and extremely popular. No booking, just turn up and hope for best! They were just about full, but managed to find a spot for us looking out to sea! Would be 5 stars, but quite expensive and showers a bit short for 1 euro. Management/staff were very helpful and seemed to go to great lengths to fit people in if they could.

€90 for 2 nights family camping. Extra charges for hot water (needed for dish washing) and showers. It was a great location in Salthill and bus route to Galway at the main road. Facilities were clean, but very expensive for pitch only.

It's a lovely location and in walking distance to Galway along the sea front but the wash/dry facilities are expensive and in addition to the overnight stay fee. Couldn't get through on the phone so just turned up and they could accommodate us thankfully.

We camped for just one night; it was a good location. Close to Galway but peaceful! The tent camping area was just a big square, no fires, etc. That was a bit unexpected, but the restrooms/showers were clean and tidy; the campers’ kitchen was clean and tidy (we stored our food in the frig overnight with no problems), and there was a nice view down at the end of the camping park. It costs a €100 for 1 car, 2 tents, 5 people overnight.
