Pretty site in the countryside, well equipped with covered outdoor room with many tables, BBQ fireplace, clean sanitary facilities with hot water, free freezer available, very warm welcome, clean adjacent swimming pool, very competitive price, in short I recommend without reservation
Very welcoming family campsite! Nice pool although small. The activities available are well thought out (petanque, games, table tennis, etc.) the bbq is available for everyone and the sanitary facilities are clean!! In short, I absolutely recommend given the value for money!!

Family-run campsite, surrounded by greenery and connected to the small family farm. Simple but welcoming.
With swimming pool and comfortable common area.
The owner is a very nice person who makes you feel welcomed and welcome.

Yesterday, my friends and I visited a restaurant located on the campsite. I don't remember the name of the restaurant, but it's the only one there. I was left with negative impressions. I am not French, and I was in this area for the first time. We ordered tapas, it's a Spanish dish, didn't like it. The salad dressing was disgusting, the onion rings and camembert fries were not tasty. But it was not the food that impressed, but the attitude towards the restaurant's guests. My friend was served the wrong dish she ordered. At first, a verbal conflict began between my friend and the waiter. And then, the waitress hit my friend on the head with her hand. And after a few minutes, the conflict continued, and some man, probably the father of the waitress or the owner of the restaurant, hit my friend on her head. It's just terrible, I've visited many restaurants, but this is the first time I've seen this. The waitress was not adequate, and so were the other employees. No one apolo

We decided to camp here because it was the nearest campsite open to where we would be eating and being transported to view the geology of the area. Unfortunately the people (nothing to do with the campsite) decided it was too far to come and collect us and deposit us in the evening. So instead of staying here 8 nights, we stayed only 3 nights.
The village of Mallefougasse is easily walk-able. It was a very quiet village with a charge. There was a restaurant there which we did not try.
The campsite has a pool, which is over the small country road. There is a restaurant / bar on the campsite, it was closed when we were there, except the evening when we were leaving. One of the issues of camping outside of the season is many of the facilities are closed.
There are a very few static caravans on site. So most of the space is open to campers. A limited number of electrical hookups were available.
The site was quite quiet when we were there, a couple of vans came and went for the weekend
