De Bonterie is located on an active dairy farm in rural Keiem , a sub-municipality of the butter town of Diksmuide , a stone's throw from the Belgian coast . The long lane leads your camper to an oasis of peace , where you can park among the dairy cattle grazing in the nearby meadows.
De Bonterie has camper pitches of 6x10m, with their own electricity , WiFi and a garden with a beautiful view. There are 9 paved spaces provided so that parking is easy, even in winter. Centrally there is a discharge point for gray water and chemical toilet, as well as a water tap and a waste collection point . Each camper pitch is equipped with a wooden support post so that electric bicycles can easily be charged and secured. For the children there is a sandbox, swing and slide.
Easily accessible by telephone. Wouter welcomes you with open arms and immediately provides all the explanation you need. He even helped us with a technical problem without any problems. Wonderfully quiet camper place far away from the hustle and bustle. Ideal for cycling tours. Nice to visit the adjacent petting zoo with children. Ordered fresh rolls at the weekend and bought some products from the shop. We will definitely come back another weekend.
I had a fantastic stay at De Bonterie Camping, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience! Tucked away amidst the serene countryside, close to the coastline of Nieuwpoort, this working farm turned camping site is a gem that offers an authentic and delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
First and foremost, I cannot praise Wouter, the owner of De Bonterie Camping, enough for his warm hospitality and genuine passion for sharing his idyllic farm with visitors. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel like family, welcoming me with open arms and providing all the information I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The motorhome accommodations were both cozy and well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities for a pleasant camping experience. The tranquility of the surrounding farm added to the charm, allowing me to wake up to the gentle sounds of nature each morning. There's something magical about sleeping in a motorhome with the knowledge

Amazing place that has been created by some very kind owners. We paid €13 for one night (€1 for the dog) and bought some fresh produce, collecting our milk from the fridge in the morning! Thank you to the lovely owners!

We were warmly welcomed by farmer Bonte 'himself', wonderful explanation about all the possibilities and personal guidance to our well-maintained pitch. The hostess was also very helpful. We got a visit to the camper van of the 2 farm cats (real cats, for possible 'dirty lessers') who did their utmost to get any snacks. Although it is only fifteen minutes from our home, we will definitely come back. The street to the farm is too narrow for 2 vehicles, so be careful. A combination of sleeping one night at the Bonterie and the next day going to the indoor play village de Boubalu in Diksmuide was an adventure in itself for the granddaughter 🚐👍.
It was sublime, very friendly host, quick explanation about the regional products that were for sale, beautiful places with a beautiful view. We'll be back for sure. Big congratulations
