Fantastic campsite in a beautiful area of France. The owners were brilliant, couldn’t do enough for us. Very clean facilities and the food trucks are a brilliant idea. Thinking about going back again next year so thank you!

I've stayed in many camping sites across the UK and Europe and have to say the owners of this site were the most unhelpful and unfriendly I have come across. I sensed this this from the very outset with the general demeanour of both the owners, in particular the Australian lady owner. Anytime we were in need of any help/assistance which didn't involve the owners making money from the process we were encountered with a abrupt and cold response. Overall the body language was "go away". Furthermore, they were not welcoming to our children which was astonishing given this is supposed to be a family friendly site. This experience really hit home as when we moved onto other sites on our trip, as the attitude of staff couldn't have been more different. I strongly recommend the owners of this site have a good look at themselves and what makes a campsite welcoming to their paying guests. Pitches were also very small expected them to be much bigger. On the plus side the kids loved the pool and the bar area was quirky and comfortable. Updated 15SEP2023 to repsond to owner's comments. With regards to the response "Your wife was distressed and we were doing our best to help her when you arrived and told us aggressively that the situation was none of our business and we were to leave well alone." What I didn't at the time of my apology to you after learning my wide was distressed is that the female lady owner actually contributred to her distress in being very unhelpful in helping her obtain a taxi. She was abrupt and unaccomodating. This compounded my wife's distress. The lady owner needs to acknowledge this. Furthermore, when the lady owner approached me after she had spoken to my wife she made it clear it that "she is trying to run a business here" and that these requests we made was not something she was really interested in. She also stated that this was impacting my children and making them anxious which was a complete fabrication as they were all quetly playin

This is a great campsite, which has a chilled and relaxed atmosphere. We stayed for two weeks (Aug/Sept) in our campervan and enjoyed the whole experience. The owners (Nat and Pat) are lovely warm people who have created a special place. There are some excellent facilities: food trucks in the evening, the cosy nook bar, a delightful swimming pool, all set in the beautiful Dordogne countryside. We can highly recommend staying here. Thanks to the whole team!

We loved this campsite. Perfectly situated in the Dordogne which is a beautiful region with loads to do. Lovely owners who were really friendly and helpful. It's a small but perfectly situated campsite. We were in a campervan and the plot we had was fine, although there were bigger plots too. The site has a pool (not heated) which is perfect when it is roasting hot! The site has a snug (bar) to sit around at night and enjoy some food and drink. The site also has food trucks offering different food each night too. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Dordogne.

What a fantastic well maintained place to visit! We stayed for the whole month of June 22. Having cancelled twice for two years because of Covid restrictions . On our arrival we were so thrilled to find that the pitch we had requested two years earlier was ready and waiting for us even though they said it could not be guaranteed. We were treated like family! The whole stay was better than we could ever had hoped. The weather was great except for one major rain storm that affected the whole region for one day. The owner , Patrick, visited every pitch to warn us of the incoming storm in order that we could secure our pitch awnings etc. The ensuing downpour damaged some of the internal tracks but to our amazement these were repaired completely by midday on the following morning. Simply amazing effort from the whole team.. We BBQ’d many evenings, supplemented by a reasonably priced bowl of home made chips cooked while you wait with a fine pint from the bar!!! (Or two). It’s hard to imagine that we could ever have felt more welcome They had organised specialised Food Trucks many evenings and even took the time to stick a reserved sign on a comfortable table for us and another couple we had met there …….we didn’t even ask, it was just done ( possibly as a joke, but it was great) The guest facilities were continually being cleaned. With washing machines and washing lines available for guests. Whilst the owners , Patrick and Natalie were never far away, their multilingual staff couldn’t have been more helpful and fun, stopping for a chat as they passed. They or staff were always at hand to book trips , advise on routes and places to visit. They even took time to ask how outings had gone. The on-site pool was just right with more than enough seating and sunbathing area. We can’t comment on the excellent children’s playground as at 72, those days are long gone. After a month , we were sorry to leave. We look forward to a return someday! Can we recommend it, absolutely and wit
