We really enjoyed our recent two night visit to Mousehole Camping, which is run by volunteers, and is in the grounds of the football club. The toilet block is a bit of a trek, especially in the dark, so take a torch. The amenities are more than adequate and very clean. I'd recommend paying a visit. We were met with a very warm welcome and given information regarding the nearby pubs and restaurants. We're looking forward to our return visit.

It was great to use a campsite that's staffed by volunteers who run it for the benefit of the local soccer team, but to be honest, the facilities are not great and they are at some distance from the camper van pitches.
Fine if your camper van is completely self-contained I guess, but less so if you need to walk quite a long way through a scary, dark football ground to get to the toilets at night.

Good location for a visit to Mousehole - about a ten minute walk down the hill.
Good value for money ( £20) as that includes electric hook up. Quiet site although not much of a view of any interest .
Showers, toilets and washing up facilities are quite a trek and because of wind and rain wasn’t pleasant at all.
Ok for a night but wouldn’t return .

Mousehole camping is at a Local football club with a cricket field adjacent.Laura and Nick are very friendly Hosts. Excellent value for money and a nice atmosphere .The picturesque harbour of Mousehole is nearby and the kings arm’s pub where you can have a lovely drink and meal in Paul is worth a visit. We walked from the campsite to Penlee point and continued back to the village by a steep path which was quite wet and muddy..Lots to do around this area. We would definitely return.

It's lovely a small but spacious camping. The couple looking after the premises were so lovely and welcoming. They did they best to ensure that everyone enjoyed the stay and were comfortable during stormy weather.
The facilities at the campsite were clean and well maintained. My only comment would be that the showers and toilets were a brief walk away from the main campsite, shared by the local football team. It meant that during the match and practises these facilities were mot available. Though, there was an alternative toilet available on the other side of the building.
I will definitely be returning at some point. Hopefully next time we will have better weather.

Lovely staff but this site is very interesting.. u share the facilities with a football team (luckily out of season for our visit) - the toilets/showers are in the team changing rooms - communal showers not for me... not the cleanest either.
Cricket pitch right next to the site and a motorhome and car got hit on our stay...
Very remote - no shop - no bar - no takeaway deliveries. Also not the safest walk to get to town because no pavements and very hilly so not the best for those not fit.
No phone signal and terrible WiFi which may suit some but not us.
Hard pitches very small too
Very secluded and quiet but i wouldnt advise more than a few nights before the boredom sets in.

Extremely basic site. It shares land with the cricket club and football club. The pitches have electric hook up but all facilities are shared within the club house of the football club. The chemical waste is also next to the club house. We visited out of season so there was no staff which is stated on their website. Having said all that, the site was extremely peaceful, however, I think it is very over priced for what you get (£20 per night) I would say £10 a night is it’s limit. Great place if you want to go semi wild though
