Camping De Dinant

Very basic campsite on the river bank, not very close to Dinant, you can reach the city by taking the road along the river but be careful because it is very busy. There is no protection between the camping area and the river bank. The owner, even though we are in Wallonia, does not speak French, only Dutch and luckily excellent English, he is still very kind. Pets allowed, you can also fish.

Beautifully situated on the Maas. Unfortunately right on the road, which is very busy during the day. Fortunately little traffic at night. Sanitary old and could be a bit cleaner here and there. 2 km from the center of Dinant. Good for 2 nights, to visit Dinant and travel on again.

Beautiful campsite near Dinant and beautifully situated on the Maas. Many permanent pitches, but also space for shorter stays. Grass background. Sanitary facilities are good and clean. Very nice and helpful reception. Two supermarkets are just over 1 km away. Dinant at about 1.5km. Nice cycling on the other side of the Maas, especially towards Namur.

No workings drier other wise good.

Reasonable campsite with clean sanitary facilities. No toilet paper and the shower didn't work. €2 for a shower and no water. Clearly in need of improvement.

Great camping near the river side, in a walking distance from to the town centre and supermarkets. ideal for bikers. The camping has recently changed owner and the new ones are friendly and very helpful. I received a warm welcome and I was given a very nice pit. All camper pits have electricity and water attachment. I highly recommend. I shall go back for sure

Nice location by the river and 20 minutes walk from the town. Unfortunately the owners are quite grumpy and not at all helpful. Luckily we had made a reservation because the manner in which others were being turned away was pretty shocking. They have no information about the site (including the fact that you must have a token to use the showers) and their office seemed to open at random times of the day. The dozens of A4 posters telling you about all the things you mustn't do gave the whole place a bit of a negative atmosphere. It's as if the owners resent anyone actually staying there. Easily the least welcoming of the 10 sites we used this trip.

Great camping, very welcoming new management, clean facilities, all the tents' placements are under chestnut trees. Safe and quiet. Definitely recommend to visit. Excellent location as well.

We stayed at the camping for 2 days in April. Great location to explore the beautiful town of Dinant. The facilities were clean and very well maintained. The management were friendly and gave us good advices for the neighborhood. Would love to visit again soon.

Basic campsite on the banks of the Maas. Clean sanitary block with all utilities. Close to the center of Dinant. Minuses: no cafeteria, a lot of noise from the nearby street. Nice for a few days.
