Camperstop located on a mixed parking lot, next to the hotel and by the water, basic sanitary facilities available on-site, great spot for both short-term and an overnight stay.
Location is brilliant and the people working there are super nice. Epic hikes in all directions too. The rooms only have the basics, bed and toilet/shower and even if I’ve travelled a lot it is by far the most expensive hotel room I’ve ever had. Be prepared for at least 1900,- NOK a day.

Went here for breakfast during "Vinjerock" festival. For the price, closer to 200 NOK, the breakfast simply wasn't worth it. The location is however great, but I'd rather stay at the DNT cabin across the road instead.

Stayed at this hotel Saturday to Sunday first weekend of September. Location is very nice. The hotel is pricy for what you get. The employees are not very knowledgeable about the local hiking conditions, nor do they seem to be professionally trained hotel staff, but just young adults hired in for the season. Rooms and food are okay, but in no way exceptional (rooms and meal portions are on the small side). Set out Sunday morning with my son to hike across the mountain-pass to Gjendebu hut - unfortunately we had to turn around and go back because of an injury and ended up spending 8 hours in the mountains. Coming back very exhausted to the hotel we found it closed for the night because of an employee party. We asked if they under the circumstances would make an exception and let us stay for the night. One employee said that it was okay, but they didn't have anything on the menu because of the party - no problem, we just needed a room to rest/sleep for the night and of course we wouldn't

If you're planning on hiking: definitely book this hotel. They give you bags to take your free lunch, it's filled with other hikers and the scenery is lovely.
If you are not planning on hiking: don't. The people that work there hardly speak any English. They give you no information about the activities or what so ever. In the room there is a bed, a shower and toilet. That's it. No television, no dark curtains, the wifi doesn't work unless you're standing at the reception. It's an hour drive on bad roads in the middle of nowhere before you get there. There are hotels that are far more accessible with the same great view.
