The place is nicely located against the old center, but is shamefully abused by campers, they can easily stay there for a week, there is no place for them, they just use 4 parking spaces for swimming pool visitors per camper, during our visit there were 4 campers outside the designated places and casually took up 16 normal parking spaces. It is a shame that the municipality of Meppen will check this and have it paid for. In this way we campers get a very bad name. Andries and Pia Homan

A nice and quiet camper place outside Meppen. 50 liters of water costs 1 euro and electricity can also be obtained for 1 per 12 hours. Next to the site is a large swimming pool (3 euros pp, children 1.50). The center is a 5-minute walk away and on the other side you go towards the corn fields where you can walk the dog. With a bit of luck you will also have a connection to the WiFi of the nearby campsite.

Good place free, elec 1 € for 12 hours you are private and the surface is with stone. You can make beautiful bike rides from there, you hear cars driving past, but that is not a problem for us

Near large parking lot, stood 1 night, a lot of noise from youth with cars!
