I loved my 4 nights staying in this camping! It offers everything you need for a comfortable, but yet rural experience. Clean toilets and showers, loaded with toilet paper, soap and hot water. A little bar where you can buy coffee, toasts and snacks. Amazing wild location, where you're surrounded by trees (and morning shadow), birds, mushrooms and meditative river. Friendly, guest oriented staff. Plenty of mixed garbage bins, but Plastic, Glass and Paper separated containers also. And my personal favourite thing - lots of fireplaces where you can cook/grill your food, or just responsibly enjoy the flame. Also, there is a decent amount of restaurants and supermarkets, atm, hotels, tourist points etc, in just 10-15 mins walking from camping, in Gerês town. Definitely recommend!

An amazing place, on the waterfalls, shaded by trees, beaufiful location lovely staff. Facilities don't always work, showers really good and hot water, dishwadhing in cold water. Washing machine old and also only works on cold water. But still 5 stars for us we are in love and will definitely come back

Came to camp with tents, the camping is beautiful with everything you need around, they have toilets and showers with even hot water. There is a small waterfall inside and space for fire/bbq as well. We came to camp here last year and it wasn’t as great as this time. This time everything was much cleaner and organised so we are definitely happy with the improvements and will be back. Recommended for a no-frills, great value camping.

Beautiful camping site! Perfectly located at a small waterfall / creek in Peneda-Gerês National Park, still close to the village of Gerês. Super friendly staff and clean sanitary. It was very quiet when we visited (off season) and it is a great starting point for day hikes to explore the beautiful nature! It was great for us with a tent and a car, also the fee. Thank you!

I was planning on giving only one star, but decided to go for two because of its potential. The location of the camping is very nice with a lot of shadow and the possibility to jump in the river. However, several things happened to me that made me unhappy. - the lights go off when you're in the shower with no possibility to turn them on again whilst being in the shower. I was happy it was still kind of light outside so that I could still see a bit; - there is a dog who's not mine following me around. I don't like dogs; - there is no warm water for the dishes. I took warm water from the showers; - I tried to take warm water from the laundry sinks. But these don't have a proper drainage causing all the water to run onto the floor, and I needed to change my wet socks; - not all toilets have toilet paper which resulted in me sneaking from one toilet to the other with my pants on my ankles; - the receptionist can't speak English and is not very helpful in telling where we can find the toil

The most peaceful and beautiful camp spot ever. I camped here in my tent solo over Easter in early April and it was peaceful, quiet (except for the beautiful sounds of the waterfall) and felt safe. The sight is large and it really feels like you are immersed in nature. The facilities are simple but clean and plentiful. The price was €4 per person plus €4.50 to pitch my tent per night.
