Camperplaats Maastricht, one of the Netherlands' largest with 100 spots, is the South's first dedicated camper site. Nestled by the Maas, it offers views of Borgharen Castle. Just 2.5 km from Maastricht's market, it's bikeable or walkable. A convenient bus stop is also nearby.
A place that benefits from its digitization. Reservation only possible via app, can be found on the website. Installed, but not to reserve but to check the capacities. Checked in via normal card payment, we reserved the right to test the app for the power connection. And what should we say as digital laypeople from Germany, "madness". You enter the number of the socket in the app and less than 5 seconds later the power flows into the WoMo. So far so good. On this pitch, however, we obviously used more electricity (5 kw within 17 h. I would have to stop almost at the column in Grabow, for example) from the socket than on pitches where you still pay a fee for each kw in the machines stuck. In other words, we used up a lot even at night when nothing was drawing electricity!??? Keep an eye on the app and log off the power when you don't need it. The pitch itself is somewhere in the middle of nowhere. You can go for a walk along the Maas, or just stroll to Maastricht (on foot, bike or public transport right in front of the parking space). We're disappointed with the latter. Ok, there are sights, but we expected more from such a well-known city. Our fault. The sanitary facilities are there and are also being cleaned. If you want to take a shower in a warm environment, you should check in here in summer. At 36 euros for two nights and the additional costs for electricity, it's not exactly cheap. The 18 euros for the parking space are reasonable. And remember, camper drivers say hello.
Good motorhome for a few nights. The cleaning ladies do a good job but the guests make a mess of it themselves. It is a pity that there are still people who have complaints about cleaning. Despite the fact that the people have self-sufficiency, a lot of use is made of the sanitary facilities. There are not enough toilets and showers to use for so many pitches.
Beautiful motorhome with good facilities, pay at the payment machine, both for the place and for the electricity, you can take a shower with coins (1 euro), playground for children, there is a bus stop for the motorhome to visit Maastricht, but it is by bike also easy to do, also not far from the Belgian border
Excellent location for a visit to Maastricht. The market is easily accessible by bike. Located on a busy main road. Plumbing is (too) little compared to the number of camper pitches. Well clean. € 17,- per night until 13:00. Electricity €2.50 per 5 Kwh
Arriving 24 hours a day is ideal for us if you are not yet retired. With all due respect of course. Maastricht has a nice guarded bicycle shed at the station with public transport card, it is free for the first 24 hours. Camper place is well organized
Great location within cycling distance of Maastricht. Rural view and behind the fence you can enjoy a walk with the dog! Ideal. Places were not large, but we did not have seats and an awning outside. You pay until 1 pm. Before that time you have to drive out or buy a new ticket for € 17 again at the ticket machine. Keep this in mind! Furthermore, we did not like to have to work with coins, I prefer an all-inclusive price of accommodation, electricity, water and shower. Electricity is € 0.50 in the description, but a minimum of 2.50 applies. Fortunately, we did participate in that for almost two days
and as usual the photos and description are more beautiful than reality. Pitches are not too big, when it is full you are almost on top of each other and there is little space for the awning. If you are standing along the fence with a view over the mesh, you have to take the extension cord over the tramline to the power column and your cord will be at the neighbor's small grassy spot where you can sit. A view over the mesh suggests a view over a river with shipping traffic, but none of this, you look out on a dead side arm of the mesh. So does not meet the expectations of the description.
Beautiful motorhome with a lawn each. Very neat sanitary facilities with all amenities. A 5min bike ride to the center of Maastricht. 17 € per night, 2.5 € for 5kwh electricity, 1 € for 5min shower.
Nice, well-kept place with spacious places, each with a little bit of green. Good, honest and clear system with automatic payment to pay before you arrive. There is electricity against payment, again at the machine. We drove with the scooter to Maastricht, but you are also fast with the bike.
A wonderful place on the Maas, near the center with a view of Borgharen Castle. Well cared for and maintained. Entry with ticket from the machine with an access code. Cycling routes nearby. At 300 m from the border with Belgium. All the amenities that motor home owners need.
