Situated between the Lot and Dordogne, the Domaine de la Faurie is set in 27 hectares of parkland on the heights of a hill, with a magnificent view over the Causses du Quercy nature park, which has won several awards for the quality of its green spaces. Ideally situated (exit from the A20 5 km away), this campsite will take you to some of the major tourist sites in the Lot and Dordogne, including Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and Sarlat. Found after other sites were closed, but we were given the wrong price of a night's stay. Still, it was a great stay. I wonder if the shower temperature was set a little too low.

This is by far one of the best sites I have stayed in. The pools are superb, the showers are superb and regularly cleaned. The bar staff excellent. The restraunt serves wonderful food (at a cost).
This site WAS always my goto site when travelling in France.
HOWEVER, things have changed....
If the lower pitches are being sold why are the showers /toilets etc near these not open? This forces a 10 minute uphill walk to the shower building.
Why am i made to feel like a second class citizen by the owners when ordering drinks or booking a table in the restraunt but all the attention given to french speakers.
Why is it not advertise that the snack bar only opens for monday specials and pizzas are not served. Whereas the menu still reads as such.
This site has let itself down badly i feel by the management team who only seen to care for french speakers. And I will be avoiding this in the future which is a huge same.
All campers should be treated the same.

Neat camping, but not all pitches are suitable for a large camper.
Dropped by to see if we could buy so.e wine (Sunday PM). We bought a bottle of red with a gold medal, that was quite pleasant. The chap who took our cash spoke perfect English and was a Wolves fan 😊

It has been just over a week ago we left this site and still the memory's are pulling me back to the Mid Pyrenees.
The site is hosted by two wonderful people, Christophe and his wife, helped by Alex with his humorous nature. It is a remote location but not far from the nearest town. The views are stunning and facilities 1st class. The gardener keeps the fauna and flora in perfect condition, with beautiful topiary on some of the hedges.
Many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area, Rocamadour and Saint Cirq La Poppie.
We will definitely be coming back ❤️
