Campsite located close to the Mont Saint-Michel, with spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities and restaurants within a walking distance. There's also a free shuttle nearby for Mont Saint Michel. You need to have a code to enter the barrier next to the hotel.

This campsite has the most cumbersome way to check in. First register online, even if you are standing in front of the barrier, then wait until they accept you by email, then you have to call them to get a code for the barrier. Maddening!
When you leave the site you still pay €11.50 to open the barrier :-(
In short; You can also camp somewhere else and park your car in the parking lot and take the free shuttle bus to Mont St. Michel.
The only campsite other than the barrier that leads to Mont Saint Michel, to access it you will be given a code to enter at the access barrier and the ticket is paid separately at €9.80 for 24 hours. 4 stars although the location is excellent because in the email they told us that parking lasted 24 hours from the moment of access and this was not the case, check out is by 10am I think, 24 hours was just the barrier. The campsite is shaded, the bathrooms are not very clean and there is no division between men and women. For a place like this I expected better, the reception is the same as the hotel. You can get to the Mont by free bus which stops in front of the souvenir shop, or on foot. They accept animals.
After an unexpected arrival in front of a closed barrier!!! But after a phone call we were given a code the barrier rose and arrives at the clean campsite and flat pitches on lawn with electricity the sanitary facilities are well maintained
Many shady places and the sanitary facilities are good, can be opened with the tag. Reservations are recommended, without a reservation you cannot reach the campsite
Currently here atm, here for 2 nights. I’m glad I chose to stay here as it’s the closest you can possibly get to Mont st Michel. The site is well shaded under trees, the sanitary area is excellent and I would definitely return. The receptionist was really helpful and spoke good English, I called to book and it was really simple. We brought with us e scooters which were perfect for scooting over to Mont st Michel, the walk must take forever! There is a free bus that is frequent too.

Big camping spaces in a proper area. Good, clean and plenty of facilities (free shower, sinks, dishwashing stations and handwash facility) and relatively cheap. Spaces with electricity are available when reserved in advance. To access the area, a daily parking fee is required (not exclusively for this camping but general car access).
Le Mont Saint Michel can be reached by bicycle, on foot or by (free) shuttlebus.

This review is relevant for walkers and bike Packers. This is the most expensive place. I have stayed on since being in France with the least facilities.
If you have a tent and no car They will put you right next to the road where there are regular people walking by, and who have full access to your belongings it doesn’t feel safe. There is absolutely nowhere to get power even if you want to pay for it. Yes it’s closest to Mont Saint michel but if I had more energy at the end of the day, I would have left and gone somewhere else

A good campsite that is incredibly close to Mont Saint-Michel. We were staying in our camper and had no issues at all. Clean toilets and showers and a good washing up area. Only grumble was that when you enter the gate it’s not initially obvious where you have to go for the campsite - perhaps a sign on the main road would help.

This is an excellent, small, peaceful campsite approximately 8km (5mi) from Le-Mont-Saint-Michel. There is lots to do on the campsite. A pool (not heated), a mini zoo / farm. Donkeys, Goats, Guinea pigs, Rabbits. There is 2 bouncing castles. Good, clean toilet + shower facilities nice small shop / bar. You can hire bikes. There is a bike trail from the campsite to Le-Mont-Saint-Michel. The staff are nice and it is an all around nice place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
