I think it was Kris who welcomed us and he was super warm and super friendly. What we saw can't be seen in pictures: the view is absolutely breathtaking. The place is immensely beautiful and it's just serenity in itself. The sound of the crashing waves, the view of the morning light outside our van, the cold yet warm sand under our feet, absolute bliss. Oh and don't forget about their dog Rudy. He's a delight and he even blocks the driveway because he didn't want us to leave the campsite. An absolute delightful and beautiful place that I can recommend anyone visiting Ireland and we will be back for sure!

We arrived with no booking asked at the gate and were allowed in, being later received in a very welcoming and warm way. The only thing I regret is having stated so little time, just one night. The location is amazing!!! Crazy views, so quiet and calm, and the stars view at night was out of this world (if you are lucky enough to get a relatively clear sky). The place has a kitchen with a few microwaves, toilets and showers with warm water; the showers work on coins 1€/3 minutes. The night was €36 with a place to power your campervan, general use water, and drinking water. We are definitely going back!!

We were given a very warm welcome by Kris. If you like nature and being by the sea then this is for you. It’s in a stunning location, with beautiful beaches. We had a lovely walk to Omey Island with some delicious sea food chowder in the local pub after. We wished we could have stayed here longer but ran out of time. The campsite has a kitchen with fridges, microwave and a dining table and chairs which is a really nice addition. Loved the classical music played throughout the kitchen and bathroom! We will be back for sure!

ATTENTION CAMPERS! this place is by far the most beautiful location you could camp at. The owner was very welcoming and went out of his way to help us out. This place is dog friendly. And accommodates roof tents. It has a kitchen. Toilets and warm showers. The reception is tucked away so doesn't spoil the natural views around you. This site has its own private beach which splits into 3 coves with crystal clear waters. I would describe this site as almost wild camping. ITS A MUST VISIT. 10/10.

Amazing campsite with amazing views and a lovely private sheltered beach, ideal for an early morning Atlantic swim. We only had time for one night this time but will def be back. The owners are very friendly. Whilst there are a good number of pitches on the site they are well spaced out and it feels very private. Make you sure you do the whisky barrel hot tubs as well!!
