Super motorhome stop, friendly owner, friendly people €15.50 per night including EHU, showers and toilets, good cycling routes from the site, well wort a visit.

On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, we filled out the reservation form on their site and received an answer from them in the evening. It said here that we could choose from an empty pitch or from a reserved one. Parked us, electricity hooked up and then we realized we still had to get clean water. This was done with a watering can because we didn't want to leave completely with camper (stubborn huh). After this we went around the motorhome to see what was there. We saw that there was a basket of fresh boiled eggs that you are allowed to take every morning. Is not it nice! We stood at the sanitary block where there was room for 2 toilets and 1 urinal and a wheelchair-friendly toilet. Also 2 showers and a room to wash your clothes, equipped with a washing machine (€4.00 per turn including detergent), dryer (€3.00 per turn) and a free-to-use drying rack, iron and ironing board. A little further is the chatting corner, a kind of common room with a seat, a few tables, coffee machine, bookcase, lots of information about bike rides, walks and your own search. There are also registration forms in the chat corner (you can also register online), you can choose from cash or pin. Here are also the forms for the bread service, Bakker-Lunchrome Peeters, who is 600 meters from the motorhome, brings them to the chat corner every morning at 9 o'clock (excluding public holidays). Next to the chat corner is the bicycle room, here you can even charge your electric bicycle. A little further on you have the discharge area, waste place, space for toilet discharge, a dog playing field, a fireplace, ... There is also free wifi. At 800 meters supermarket Coop, less than a 5-minute walk from the Maas. Wendy, the owner, came to us at 7.30 pm due to rain and wind for payment. We paid € 31.00 for 2 people and 2 nights. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night, this because of Storm Dudley which crossed Europe and also took other storms with it. When we got home we apologized by mail because we had gone ahead and did not report it. We received an email back that we can even ask for that paid night that we had not used next time. Nice service nonetheless. We will definitely come back because we hadn't seen everything in Kessel and surroundings yet.

reluctanly i have to give this camperplaats 5 stars and more if was possible... Why reluctantly?, its simple, the more reviews then the more visits.. and less chance of a place when we want to visit again. Joking aside, probably one of the best camper parkings in The Netherlands. read the other visitors reviews for a complete picture.. My only very small criticism is that since the expansion of he site there should be a couple more wc's and showers.Well done to the owners and site manager ..... Stay again ?, You bet we would... A click on the like button would be appreciated if you think my review has earned it.

Excellent camper site. Nice location not far from Meuse river and Kessel village, which has a real castle. Good facilities, well maintained. Dogs are free!

A very clean and tidy camp area with more than the dual facilities. One can see a lot of love has gone into making this place special. The caretaker is very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend this place in the highest terms possible.

Nice CP. For € 14 you have everything. Sanitary and electricity and a boiled egg every day. We will definitely come back here.
