Amazing place with beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we were sent away by police. There are 4 parking spots especially for campers. We parked outside these spots and all the campers which were not parked correctly were sent away with a warning. Be careful, if it's full you can risk a fine.

Fantastic camper place near the super cute town of Woudrichem (just take a boat across, 1.80 pp) and (a little further) Gorinchem. Located in a super beautiful nature reserve. wonderfully quiet at night. A visit to Slot Loevestein is definitely recommended! Max 4 campers, max 48 hours. Finally: How dare people always ask for more? (More places, free discharge, electricity) it is a FREE place in a breathtaking location. Be happy with what is!

Nice place in a beautiful environment. Pets are certainly allowed. Dog on a leash, there are 'wild' horses and cows in the meadows that you can walk through.

Nice and quiet place (possible depending on the time of year). Enough opportunities for walking and cycling in the area. Castle can be visited and beautifully lit in the evening. No facilities for the camper.

What a beautiful place!!! Green all around... Scottish highlanders walk by...horses...awesome!!! Beautiful area for walking, beyond expectation beautiful !!! In nature reserve the Bommelerwaard. We had never been there ... but really ... wow ...!!! You can take a pedestrian ferry but Woudrichem, which is also recommended. Nice with a ferry and then have a nice cup of coffee with apple point on the other side 👍☺️ and then visit the beautiful fortified town of Woudrichem.. . Very nice, and also nice harbor and again beautiful nature reserve ... At the end of the afternoon, enforcement came by. We stood in a spot next to the official camper pitches; because they were occupied. They said we were not allowed to spend the night there 😮😱 and that they would come back in the evening for a check ... Oh dear ... 😮🤭 Fortunately, someone left later and we were able to park on a motorhome. And ... that evening at 10 p.m., Sunday evening ... yes .. the enforcers came ... and two vans had to lea

Great place, no amenities. Why 5 stars? Sufficient place, quiet, beautiful view of nature, oxen, river, castle and Woudrichem within walking distance, Gorinchem by ferry or a 30 minute detour. Only drawback: freighters give a very low hum when they pass, one will always wake up from that, like me, the other not.

Very nice camper spot, in the middle of nature. There are 4 places reserved for motorhomes. Maximum stay 48 hours. Many cycling and walking paths. Loevestein Castle is within a 15-minute walk.

Beautiful place in nature, view of the crooked canal on the Maas, cattle and horses if you are lucky. no facilities just a bench and waste bin. 4 official places, but enough space for more. 11 campers when I stayed.

Lovely spot Nice nature reserve .. with primal oxen and wild horses. Recommended if you like peace.

A great place to overnight and spend the day. A Castle, a river, lakes, wildlife. What more could you want.

Beautiful location next to the castle and short walk to a small beach, plenty of woodland and lots of cows and horses, no toilets but there is a seating area and a bin.

May only have 4 campers.
