Communal de Chimay

There is a separate rest area and camping site, we have chosen the campsite. It could be beautiful but it is held up to crap. Dirty toilets and all neglected plus the lady at the reception very rude

The price for 11.30 pm (instead of 24.00) is 10 €. There is room for 7 campers, but there are only 4 facilities for electricity. During our stay our electricity and that of another camper went out and the manageress knew nothing about it to solve the problem. Waterless people is free. Emptying the toilet and filling water together costs you € 4.95 (the machine counts down 20 minutes after payment). You can dispose of residual waste at the campsite. Location is great. You can walk to the small but beautiful center. Shops such as Lidl, ALDI, Delhaize are easily accessible by bicycle (+/- 5min). Espace de Chimay is a nice bike ride through fields and forest of / - 15km. Lompret (should be one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia but was one of the biggest disappointments for us) is 5km (in a valley).
