The very well-kept campsite Grohnder Fährhaus is located between Hamelin and Bodenwerder directly on the Weser. We stayed here for 2 nights in early June. and for us it was an ideal starting point for cycling tours in the places mentioned. We like to give 5 stars here and recommend the place. When you arrive you can stop in a waiting bay in front of the barrier, then go to the reception and get everything explained by the very friendly and helpful staff and the corresponding, very detailed documents handed out. Access to the square and also to the sanitary facilities is via the ticket that you draw at the subsequent entrance. You can also top up credit for any power consumption. Unused credit can then be offset against the costs for the parking space on departure. The exact procedure can be seen in the attached photos. The plots for tourists consist of a gravel-lawn mixture in frequently frequented plots

Pleasantly surprised. The sanitary facilities are very good. Staff friendly and helpful. The Sellplatz good size, unfortunately a gravel place. That's OK for a short vacation. For us, a race place is more pleasant during a longer holiday. As I said, this only applies to us. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the campsite.

Were there over Pentecost. Very friendly staff welcomed us and the email contact beforehand was great. The facility is extremely well maintained. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. We were standing on the extension, there only possible with an electricity flat rate of 10 € per day. But that's totally ok, because the pitches are too nice and spacious. You have to walk a little to get fresh water, this is available at an inexpensive tap. I personally think that's a good thing, so water isn't wasted unnecessarily. The outside sinks are a bit short on number, but made for fun conversations with the other guests. The site is located directly on the Weser, the cycle path leads directly through. A liner sails daily. The overnight stay for 2 people including showers for 25 €. And then also from and until 1 p.m. What more do you want! Highly Recommended!

.... a very nice quiet campsite on the Weser. I got a nice parking space with a view of the Weser and immediately felt completely relaxed. Since the campsite is right on the Weser cycle path, I was able to get on my bike and start riding right away... my dog was welcome, and I was explained everything in an incredibly friendly manner when I registered. The showers and toilets were new and always clean. In the beer garden there was delicious food or great cakes in the afternoon....all in all a couple of great vacation days. Thank you very much!!!!

Very nice parking space with a great restaurant in the Bavarian stalk and corresponding food and drinks menu. Sanitary very modern and clean. Uncomplicated bread service, on the eve is in the sanitary building an order list. Register, pay (have enough money ready to go) and you're done. Pick up at the reception from 8 am onwards.
