We stayed for 1 night on the camper spot. No welcome upon arrival. After check out we wanted to use the toilets but were not allowed to use them because of COVID. We’ve been traveling for 3 months through Europe and this was the first time we were denied access to the bathroom. Costumers of the restaurant may use the facilities, but as guest of the camper spot it’s not permitted. This is not about prevention of Covid, but just unwillingness of the host.

Very nice place for a motor home, you need to make a reservation. Lot of rv's come here

Very good spot to park, refill and enjoy the views! Friendly hosts, good facilities and many hiking trails nearby. A night for caravan parking with electricity for 2 people was 24€ (incl. tourist tax).

The owner was bit rude, not welcoming or tell anything about the services. Staying night could only pay with cash, no receipt. But nice views!

This Year we where back at Gasthoff Friedburg after 30 years for a 2 week Holliday . We had 3 dogs with us and it was fantastic .The welcome was as we where never gone , so friendly and welcome as we were . The room where we stayed for two weeks was big even with 3 dogs ( and benches ) and the service was great . The food ... ik can be very short of , it was very good and the portions were more than enough and i am a big eater !! And the service was very very good . Thanks to Margret and Norbert and the hole family for this fantastic Holliday in august . We had a splendid Holliday and we decided to go back next year !! Final comment , i wrote this revue in English becauce Dutch is hard to read for many many people . sincerely Marc ( from the netherlands )

We stayed here a long weekend as a couple. Perfect food, nice room and very lovely people! We will certainly come back again!

An excellent example of inhospitality and nonsense Covid rhetoric. We arrived with our mini van in the evening with no owner to be found. We stayed the night, used the toilet of the attached restaurant/Gasthof in the understanding this was included. The next morning we paid for the spot and wanted to use the toilets again. But then the owner said we could not go there, because of Covid. I found this absurd because people who go the the restaurant can use it, and people on the camper spot not. This has nothing to do with covid prevention, but it’s just inhospitable

Driving towards the Gasthof might make you think you're driving the wrong way but keep on going because the food is absolutely fantastic and the location is magnificent.
