First: We didn't have a reservation!
Went there on the chance.
Unfortunately there was nothing left available - our bad luck!
But the way we were handled at reception was sobering. We were literally insulted in a snippy and unfriendly manner. The reference to a free parking space outside was rudely dismissed with the statement: “I told you there was nothing available!” We couldn't shake the feeling that we weren't wanted. Oh well, we weren't rude or abusive, we were just upset because of the way the lady at the reception treated us! Too bad👎❗️

The welcome at reception was friendly.
The campsite is well cared for. The sanitary facilities are spacious and neat, with free hot water.
The location in Tyrol and also in relation to the village is good.

The most beautiful campsite we have ever had in the mountains. Great, quiet location with excellent service. Fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser and the Pölven group. Sanitary facilities at their best. All hiking trails are immediately accessible. We would love to come back here.

First time staying here and it was excellent, the room was a good size and spotless, staff / owners all very friendly and the ski bus starts right out side the hotel

We stayed in the hotel of Franzlhof and absolutely loved it. The (family)room was very spacious and good. We had 4 perfect beds, and 2 balcony’s. All staff was very friendly, housekeeping good! Breakfast also great and very neat, decent offerings. Ski space and bus stops in front of the hotel. Saunagarten was extensive, lot of options to chill. Only thing for us as we were friends is the naked part which can be left out :’). Thank you for the perfect hospitality!

Bad breakfast and sauna garden shared with camping.
Breakfast was very bad. Very little to choose from and the food was not replaced so the trays were empty by 9 am and although we complained everyday to the one and only waitress and also in the front desk of the hotel, they didn’t replace the food. Also, the other tables were with the leftovers from previous guests and not cleaned, quite unpleasant to see. The breakfast service is not of a 4 stars hotel but you still pay for that. Definitely will not return and do not recommend this hotel.
Regarding the Saunagarden: small but decent sauna area but with one big problem. Although is a 4-star hotel this area is shared with the camping next to the hotel run also by the them so expect to find the sauna area quite crowded. It is not a quiet and peaceful site expected in a 4-star hotel since it is shared with guests not staying in the hotel.

Beautiful campsite just outside Soll and within walking distance of the village center with shops and restaurants. Very friendly managers. All facilities are present. You pay electricity after consumption. Showers and toilets are very neat and clean. A campsite to definitely come back. I recommend this campsite.
In full season, without o prior reservation, we were given a perfect pitch with shade. The camping has a restaurant, a playground, a mini-golf field, a sauna and a swimming-pool.
The bathrooms and sanitary facilities are clean.
We thank again the lovely receptionist, who made our stay here perfect!
You can even order fresh bread and milk from the ecologic farm the family runs.
We have been here last year and we will definitely come back again!
The camping is a 3-minute ride away by bus (you take the bus next to the Eurospar) from the Hexenwasser and even closer to the lake Ahorn, that we have discovered by chance and it is a must see sight if you visit the area. Also, there are wonderful bike trails and routes for MB in the area. We recommend the one towards Scheffau.
The stay in the camping Franzlhof was the highlight of our holiday so far.
